State Sen.-elect Kevin Sparks will be appearing at a dinner hosted by a local Republican women’s group next week.
According to an email sent out by the Potter County Republican Party, Sparks will speak at the High Plains Republican Women’s Christmas Celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 5:30 p.m.. The event will take place at Abuelo’s, and tickets are available for $30 for those who would like to eat dinner, or free for those who would like to attend to hear from Sparks, but not eat.
Sparks is the newly-elected senator for Texas’ 31st Senate District, spanning the Texas Panhandle and the Permian Basin. Sparks was elected in the March Republican primary to replace Sen. Kel Seliger, and was unopposed in the November general election.
