Candidate Comparison for March 1, 2022

Texas Senate, District 31

Tim Reid

Age: 62 | Occupation: Director of Athletics and Campus Safety

Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position in 2020?

I come from a working background and understand well what people go through in their everyday lives. Big government should not control our lives but rather support our common needs, secure our safety, and protect our liberties. I listened to people during my career and will continue to listen and address their concerns. It isn't about controlling what people think, it's about listening to what they think and taking action.

Jesse Quackenbush

Age: 59 | Occupation: Attorney

Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position in 2020?

Legal Education & Career. I've worked in law for 33 years.

Kevin Sparks

Age: 57 | Occupation: Executive

Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position in 2020?

I believe we need more business-minded patriots and less professional politicians serving in government. I am committed to our conservative values and will work every day to prevent Texas from going down the same dead-end road traveled by California.

Stormy Bradley

Age: 32 | Occupation: President of Bulldog Steel

Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position in 2020?

I will stand up for the needs across our district, not just in my industry. I am a parent, business owner, and community advocate. It is going to take someone with grit and multifaceted experience to represent this vast district well, and someone who understands what it means to be in need. I grew up with nothing but am blessed to have started several sucessful businesses, so I understand what people at both ends of the economic spectrum are feeling durring this challenging time. I am an everyday hard working person seeking to represent everyday hard working people. We need elected officials who hold others accountable and not just go along to get along. We need people who have struggled to understand the needs of those who are struggling now. I care about doing what is right, not just politically correct. You can count on my grit and integrity in Austin.
