Citing weather conditions, both Potter and Randall Counties have banned the sale and use of Fireworks until July 5th. Along with most other counties in the panhandle, both Potter and Randall are under burn bans.
The area has already dealt with several wildfires this year, including one active fire in Oldham County. The Texas A&M Forest Service announced on Monday that the Midpoint Fire in Oldham County is 95% contained. As of the latest update at the time of writing, the fire had burned 3,717 acres.
