Palo Duro Canyon State Park will be hosting a “Night Hike Safety Hike” Saturday evening. According to an announcement by the park, the hike will help hikers “learn 7 steps to safely hike a night while taking a stroll along the Pioneer Nature Trail.”
Those attending are asked to bring comfortable hiking shoes and clothing and plenty of water. The only cost to go on the hike is the usual park admission fee. The hike will be on the Pioneer Nature Trail and is scheduled to begin at 7 pm.
