The City of Amarillo announced this morning that the application deadline for Community Development Block Grant funding has been extended. The deadline is now June 12th at 6 pm.
According to a statement from the city, the funding is for local non-profit and community organizations looking to meet certain identified priorities, which “include serving the homeless population and Tenant Based Rental Assistance.”
The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. More information can be found at the city’s website, amarillo.gov.
