Gov. Greg Abbott brought up the back of the pack, along with U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney, during the CPAC presidential straw poll last weekend in Dallas.
According to the results of the poll, the Texas governor was among the least popular potential candidates for president offered to attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas. Abbott received no measured support in the poll, along with U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney, landing at the very back of the pack of candidates.
Other candidates receiving no measured support included Sens. Marco Rubio and Tom Cotton, and Govs. Chris Christie and Larry Hogan.
As we previously reported, Trump won the support of the most voters in the poll, with 69 percent of measured support, followed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at 24 percent, and Sen. Ted Cruz at 2 percent.
