Texas House candidate Caroline Fairly hosted a meet and greet on Wednesday night in downtown Amarillo.
On Wednesday, Fairly hosted her first public meet and greet in Amarillo at the In This Moment venue on Polk Street. Fairly chatted with voters about her ideas for improving Texas and why she believes she is the best candidate to serve in the Texas House. Fairly has previously held meet and greets in other communities across the Panhandle for her campaign, including a well-attended function in Dumas earlier this week.
Fairly is running for Texas House District 87 to replace State Rep. Four Price, who is not seeking re-election. Thus far, Fairly has only one announced opponent, realtor Cindi Bulla. Local attorney Jesse Quackenbush has also filed a campaign treasurer appointment, but has not yet announced his candidacy for the seat.
Candidate filing will begin on Saturday. The primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5.
