Texas House District 87 candidate Caroline Fairly is pulling in the big bucks in her campaign to replace State Rep. Four Price (R-Amarillo).
According to the Fairly campaign, the candidate has now raised over $250,000, since announcing her bid for the Texas House of Representatives last month. Fairly, a 24-year-old medical negotiator, is one of two Republicans currently running to succeed Price, who is not seeking another term in office.
“I am so grateful for the trust and support of the people in this community. I believe the momentum we are building is a direct result of people of this district rallying behind the conservative values and issue priorities – our border, our children -- that are critical to this district and the future of Texas,” Fairly said in a statement.
Fairly has also earned endorsements from Sen. Ted Cruz, State Sen. Kevin Sparks, Attorney General Ken Paxton, and Mayor Cole Stanley, among others. Fairly is facing Cindi Bulla, an Amarillo realtor, in the March primary election. Jesse Quackenbush, an attorney, has also filed a treasurer appointment, but has not yet declared his candidacy.
