Candidates interested in seeking a party nomination for office in 2024 have less than a week to submit their applications.
The deadline is Monday, December 11th, at 6:00 pm. For Republicans and Democrats, this is the deadline to file for a place on the March 5th primary election ballot. For the Libertarian and Green Parties, which have ballot access for the general election but nominate via convention instead of via primaries, this is the deadline to file to be eligible for nomination via convention.
Candidates interest in running must have their application and filing fee turned in before the deadline to be eligible to run. The primary election is Tuesday, March 5th, 2024.
