The City of Amarillo is looking for input from the public for the new City Plan and the city’s HOME-ARP Allocation Plan.

The city is asking residents to take an online survey regarding the city plan, which is meant to set basic city policy for the next two decades. The survey can be found at surveymonkey.com/r/CityPlan2045. The city will also be hosting community input meetings on March 7th. One meeting will be held at the Downtown Library from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and another will take place at the Northwest Library from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Comments may also be emailed to cityplanning@amarillo.gov.

The city has also opened a public comment period to seek input on the HOME-American Rescue Plan Allocation Plan. Comments may be emailed to vanessa.robinson@amarillo.gov. The plan will involve distribution of the $2,560,840 HOME-ARP funds received from the federal government. The public comment period will end on Tuesday, March 14th. A presentation regarding the plan is expected to be presented to Amarillo City Council on that date.
