Council to Fill Animal & Library Board Vacancies

Amarillo City Council is set to make appointments to fill vacancies on the Library Advisory Board and Animal Management & Welfare Advisory Board.

These appointments were originally set to take place during the council’s May 14th meeting, though the council opted instead to briefly reopen applications for the two boards.

The following names are being considered for the Animal Management & Welfare Advisory Board:

The following names are being considered for the Library Advisory Board:

  • Robert S Urban

  • Jessi D Barrientos

  • Dean Kennedy

  • Andrew J Brandt

  • Shalanda Tatum

  • Nichole Anderson

  • Tiffany Mcdaniel

  • Calvin Tran

  • Lytton A St. Stephen

The council will also consider nearly $9 million in spending items and discuss and potentially consider two ordinances to restrict abortions.
