City Council, Potter Commissioners, & AISD Board to Meet

A joint meeting between Amarillo City Council, the Potter County Commissioners’ Court, and Amarillo ISD Board of Trustees is set for Monday April 29th at 4:00 pm.

According to agendas posted by the City of Amarillo and Amarillo ISD, the meeting will be a work session to “discuss the issue of declining student enrollment in Amarillo ISD and the implications and effects on the District, the City, and Potter County.” The entities will also address potential steps to address the issue.

The meeting will be held in the Criminal Justice Lyceum at AmTech Career Academy, located at 3601 Plains Blvd, Southeast side, Entrance #26. The meeting will be open to the public.
