Amarillo’s drive-in theater will again be operational, courtesy of brand new owners.
On Thursday night, the Tascosa Drive-In social media account announced that the longtime Amarillo entertainment staple had been sold to the Dewitz Family. While there is no word yet on when the theater will reopen, fans on social media filled the comments section with excited reactions to the news.
The announcement came following the destination’s closure last year. Following the theater’s closure, an auction was planned for the property before being scrapped.
