Murguia to Hold Re-Election Event with Jones, Vaughn

Three local elected officials will be holding a campaign kickoff event tomorrow night.

Potter County Commissioner Mercy Murguia will be joining with Commissioner Alphonso Vaughn and Justice of the Peace (Pct. 4) Thomas Jones on Wednesday night, to promote their campaigns for re-election. All three officials have filed, or will be filing, to seek re-election in 2018.

Murguia represents precinct two in Potter County. Precinct two covers a large portion of the southeast portion of Potter County.

Vaughn represents precinct four, as does Thomas Jones. Precinct four covers a large portion of North Amarillo, however it does not extend to the far north areas of the county.

The kickoff will be held at the Rancho Viejo on Wednesday, November 22nd. The event begins at 5:30pm.
