APD Warning Residents Over Downtown Traffic Issues

The Amarillo Police Department is warning residents regarding downtown traffic issues.

A statement from APD today, says, "Drivers may wish to be aware that construction in the downtown area is narrowing S. Fillmore Street down to two and then one lane in the area of the 600 block of S. Fillmore. Northbound traffic was backing up for some distance. Drivers may wish to plan for the delay."

However, this is not the only downtown traffic issue today.

The Amarillo Civic Center is warning attendees of the Cirque Eloize Saloon that traffic on Buchanan has been cut to one lane. Drivers are asked to prepare for delays.
