One person is dead following a motorcycle accident, yesterday.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were dispatched at 7:03pm, last night to a motorcycle crash at Southwest 6th Avenue and South Prospect Street. Robert Russell Ogle, driver of the Harley Davidson, was westbound on 6th and turned southwest onto Bushland Avenue. Ogle lost control of the vehicle causing him to leave the roadway and strike a pole.
APD reports that Ogle was taken to a hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Unit of the Amarillo Police Department.
