A motorist is deceased following a motorcycle accident on I-40 this weekend.
APD reports that Larry Argo, 38, died from injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident on I-40. Argo was traveling on I-40 westbound and was taking the exit to southbound I-27. Argo failed to negotiate the curve and struck the guard rail. He was ejected from his motorcycle.
He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the accident. Argo was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.
APD's Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating.
