Abbott will make the official announcement tomorrow regarding the special legislative session. Certain legislators and political groups have been asking the governor to call a special session after the failure to pass for a number of bills.

According to the Statesman, topics that could be discussed if a special legislative session is called include: property tax reform, ethics reform, a "bathroom bill," and the continuation of several state agencies including the Texas Medical Board.
