Governor Greg Abbott is expected to announce tomorrow that he will be seeking re-election in 2018.
Abbott has scheduled an announcement at 3pm tomorrow. The date marks the four-year anniversary since Abbott originally announced that he was running for governor in 2014.
Abbott has reported a current campaign account of over $34 million.
Abbott is currently facing one Republican challenger, secessionist Larry SECEDE Kilgore. No Democrats have announced a campaign for the office.
