The Amarillo Police Department has arrested a suspect in a homicide case, according to a release from APD.
Tyzer Daniels, 41, turned himself in to police after police obtained a warrant to Daniels' arrest in the shooting of Kendrick Mayes, 34. Mayes was found deceased in a parking lot with a gunshot wound to the upper body on August 26th.
APD Special Crimes is investigating the case.
No further details have been provided at this time.
