Some of the candidates running in the most high-profile races in Texas will be at the Amarillo Pioneer forum on Thursday.
On Thursday, the Amarillo Pioneer will host a November candidate forum at the American Legion Post 54 (617 SW 7th) in Amarillo. The forum will allow voters to hear from candidates running in races up and down the ballot, and some big names are expected to be in attendance.
Neal Dikeman, Mark Tippetts, Kerry McKennon, Mike Wright, and Steven Kirkland are few of the top statewide candidates expected to attend. Candidates running for local offices, including seats in the U.S. House and the Texas House, will also attend to present their visions to voters.
“We are excited to provide this valuable community resource to local voters,” Amarillo Pioneer editor Thomas Warren said. “The most important thing about voting is to be informed, and we hope that this event will allow attendees to get informed for November.”
The forum will begin at 7PM.
