The Amarillo City Council will consider voting to reappoint its health director for the upcoming year on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Councilmembers will consider voting to reappoint Dr. Scott Milton as the health authority, on recommendation of the Amarillo Bi-City-County Public Health Board. The appointed individual will provide services to the City, at a cost of $65,000 per year. The contract will be provided through Texas Tech, according to a memo from City staff.
Also, on Tuesday, the Amarillo 101 Class will graduate and Councilmembers will consider approving several service contracts.
Councilmembers will meet at 5pm on Tuesday, October 16th. The meeting begins at 1PM, following a noon public comment session.
