Amarillo City Councilmembers are expected to approve a $200,000 purchase contract for golf equipment on Tuesday.
According to the City of Amarillo, on Tuesday, Councilmembers will consider approving a “not-to-exceed” contract with Acushnet Golf Products for $200,000. Under the deal, the City is planning to purchase golf items to place for sale in municipally-owned golf courses.
Additionally, on Tuesday, Councilmembers will consider voting to approve a lease agreement to use spaces owned by the Maverick Boys and Girls Club to establish a “neighborhood police unit.”
The Amarillo City Council will meet on Tuesday, October 30th in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). The regular meeting will begin at 1PM, following a noon public comment session.
