Amarillo City Councilmembers will consider inking a deal for ballpark furnishings this week.
On Tuesday, City Councilmembers will consider approving a deal with Navajo Office Supplies to purchase furnishings for the downtown ballpark. The deal will be for a $407,051.81 contract to provide “public spaces” inside of the ballpark. Purchase orders attached to the Amarillo.gov agenda appear to show several pieces of furniture included in the deal, including sofas, tables, stools, chairs, and more. City staff is recommending approval of the purchase.
Also, on Tuesday, Councilmembers will consider extending the life of the Amarillo Environmental Task Force, which was started under the previous City Council. Council will also consider signing off on a resolution declaring support for a Affordable Housing Tax Credits application being submitted to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, Housing Tax Credit Program by Grand Street Lofts Housing Partners, LP.
The Amarillo City Council will meet on Tuesday, December 18th in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (601 South Buchanan). The meeting will begin at 1PM, following a noon public comment session.
