A ceremony remembering homeless individuals who have passed away over the last year is being planned for later this week.
On Friday, December 21st, a Homeless Memorial Day ceremony will be hosted at Ellwood Park in Amarillo. The event is being distributed on Facebook by Food Not Bombs Amarillo. The ceremony will coincide with a series of national events promoted by The National Coalition for the Homeless, the National Consumer Advisory Board, and the National Health Care for the Homeless Council.
The ceremony will begin at 7PM on Friday.
