Downtown Board to Talk Bank Signs, WT Campus

The Downtown Amarillo Urban Design Review Board will meet this week to discuss several downtown projects.

According to an agenda posted to Amarillo.gov, the Board will meet on Thursday, December 6th, to discuss banners and pedestrian lighting at the new downtown campus for West Texas A&M University. The new campus is expected to be opened some time in the near future and will be housed in the former Commerce Building property.

Also, during the meeting, board members will consider allowing a variance to the standards for the installation of an additional building identification sign at 600 S. Tyler St. The applicant on this variance request is Will Miller for First Bank Southwest.

Board members will meet on Thursday at 5:30PM in Room 275 of 808 South Buchanan.
