Municipal Board to Talk Brush Sites

What's happening with brush sites in Amarillo? Local residents may get an answer next month.

According to an agenda posted to Amarillo.gov, the Amarillo Environmental Task Force will be discussing brush sites in Amarillo on Thursday, March 8th. The board will be receiving an information report on the sites and will not be making any decisions. The board also plans to receive similar reports regarding the City's tire program and composting efforts in Amarillo.

In addition, the board will be holding a separate discussion over recycling in Amarillo and the best efforts to coordinate recycling in the city.

The Environmental Task Force will meet on Thursday, March 8th in Room 306 of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). The meeting will be held at 6pm.
