Politics Reporter Leaves Local TV Station

Kelly James, a politics news reporter from the KAMR television station, has left the station's news team.

James, a long-time politics reporter at the station, was removed from all references on KAMR's website this week. In addition, James posted a statement on Facebook, alleging that he left the station after a disagreement with the station over a story that he had planned to run regarding Judge Richard Herman, who is currently seeking re-election.

Based on posts from Kelly James' social media pages, it is not clear whether James left the station or was terminated.

Kelly James worked at KAMR for several years, serving as both a news reporter and an investigative reporter. Prior to joining KAMR, James also worked at KVII, another local television station.
