One of the most popular quarterbacks from the National Football League is coming to the West Texas area in May.
On May 9th, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will visit Lubbock for an event held by the charity Team Luke Hope for Minds. The proceeds from Dinner with Drew will benefit Team Luke Hope for Minds, which works to held children who are impacted by brain injuries.
Brees, 39, is the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. While playing for the Saints, Brees led the team to victory at Super Bowl XLIV and was named MVP at the game. Saints is also an 11-time player at the NFL Pro Bowl.
