Amarillo School Board to Talk Lamar, Fannin Projects

Amarillo Independent School District Trustees will discuss bond-funded projects this month.

On March 19th, members of the Amarillo ISD Board of Trustees will consider approving the schematic documents, scope of work and preliminary cost estimate for bond projects at both Lamar Elementary School and Fannin Middle School. In addition, trustees will selecting a contractor for pavement replacement at the Allen 6th Grade Campus, Travis Middle School, Paramount Terrace, Mesa Verde and Windsor elementary schools, and the Dick Bivins Stadium motor coach parking lot.

Board members will also discuss the sale of remaining, unissued bonds that were approved by voters during the November 2017 general election.

The board will meet on Monday, March 19th, in the Board Room of the Amarillo ISD Education Support Center (7200 Interstate 40 West). The meeting will begin at 6pm.
