A movie theater inside of Amarillo's Westgate Mall has reopened following renovations.
The Premiere Cinemas location inside of Westgate Mall reopened on Friday following renovations. The largest renovation at the theater is the addition of leather recliners to each of the film complex's small theaters.
As a trade off, patrons of the movie theater can expect the price of tickets to rise from $2 to $3.50 a person. It also appears that the theater's Tuesday discount of fifty cents tickets has been discontinued.
During the week following its reopening, the theater will be showing "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," "Coco," Academy Award nominee "The Post," figure skating biopic "I, Tonya," "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" and "Bomb City," a critically-acclaimed independent film about the death of Amarillo teenager Brian Deneke.
