The Amarillo City Council will consider voting to order a $2.55 million road construction project during its meeting on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Councilmembers will vote on whether to approve a road project that will take place on Southeast 34th Avenue from Grand Street to Eastern Street. The project will include rehabilitation of pavement and construction to widen the street. The $2.55 million project was originally approved by voters during the 2016 municipal bond election.
In addition, Councilmembers will consider approving a services contract for bulk trash removal. The $250,000 contract will be awarded to Republic Services, Inc.
The Amarillo City Council will meet at Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue) on Tuesday, June 5th at 5pm.
