The Amarillo Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet for a special meeting on Saturday.
According to an agenda posted for the meeting, the Amarillo ISD Board is planning a meeting for Saturday to focus on teambuilding training. AISD says the training is required by Texas law and will help the board enhance its effectiveness and assess the board's continuing education needs. Trustees will engage in strategic planning and will discuss expectations of their responsibilities and the district trustee's duties.
Officials will meet for approximately three hours. No official action on any items will be taken.
Trustees will meet on Saturday, July 28th at 8:30am. The meeting will be held in the Board Room of the Region 16 Education Service Center (5800 South Bell).
