Two deals will be approved by Amarillo City Councilmembers on Tuesday for banking and depository services.
On Tuesday, Council will consider accepting two contracts for Secondary Depository Bank Services. The first contract will be with Amarillo National Bank and the second contract will be a reauthorization for services through Wells Fargo. The Amarillo National Bank deal will be for ATM services and payroll card service, while it is unclear what services the Wells Fargo deal will provide. It is also unclear from the agenda what the value of the two deals will be for the service providers.
Both deals, if approved, will run through mid-2020. Councilmembers will then have three one-year extension opportunities, according to the agenda.
Also, during the meeting, the Amarillo City Council will approve the purchase of one-hundred dumpsters for $52,000 and will approve emergency repairs to the Lawrence Lake East Pump at a cost of about $70,000.
The Amarillo City Council will meet on Tuesday, September 24th in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). Public comment will begin at noon, followed by the regular meeting at 1PM.
