Trump Rallies Supporters in Texas Stop

President Donald Trump was in Dallas on Thursday and rallied a capacity crowd at the American Airlines Center.

The rally for Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign marked the second time the billionaire businessman has hosted a campaign rally at the venue. He previously appeared at the arena shortly after launching bid presidential bid in 2015. Many supporters treated the event as a homecoming of sorts for the Republican favorite, as “Make America Great Again” and “Keep America Great” merchandise filled the venue.

Trump’s rally - with 20,000 or more supporters in attendance - was energized with chants of “four more years” as Trump promised that Texas will remain in the Republican column come Election Day next year.

“Donald Trump is not going to lose Texas. I can tell you that,” Trump said.

Meanwhile, one of Trump’s 2020 challengers, former El Paso Congressman Beto O’Rourke, led an opposition rally in Grand Prairie. O’Rourke’s rally featured roughly 5,500 attendees, as the Democratic challenger looks to pick up support in his home state.
