Potter County Sheriff Brian Thomas will be back on the ballot in 2020.
Thomas, the incumbent Republican, has filed to run for re-election in 2020, according to filings with the Texas Secretary of State’s office. Thomas has served as Sheriff since first being elected to the position in 2008, beating his Democratic challenger at the time, Robert Taylor.
No candidates have filed to run against Thomas.
Candidates have until December 9th to file for a spot on the ballot.
