A suspect has died following an attempted robbery on Monday night.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, at 10:09PM on July 1st, officers were dispatched to the H&L Discount Store at 2701 SW 6th Avenue on the report of a robbery. Before officers arrived, there was a physical struggle and the suspect in the robbery was shot. The male suspect died on scene.
APD is investigating this incident.
