APD Investigating Possible Road Rage Incident on Washington

Amarillo Police are investigating a possible road rage incident they say took place on Wednesday evening.

According to APD, officers were dispatched at 7:17PM on Wednesday night to the 2200 block of South Washington on the report of a shooting. A 25-year-old male victim had been driving northbound on South Washington when he observed a white Buick or Cadillac driving erratically by him in the same direction. The victim honked his horn at the other vehicle, as officers say the suspect in the white care then fired a gun at the victim, striking him in the upper leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There is no description of a suspect in this case.
