President Trump’s praise of 13th District U.S. House contender Ronny Jackson is the focal point of a new ad released this week.

On Thursday, Ronny Jackson’s campaign unrolled a new ad featuring Trump praising Jackson in various interviews and segments. The ad contains clips of Trump speaking at rallies that included praise for Jackson.

“Ronny Jackson is a great man,” Trump says in one of the clips. “Ronny Jackson has led a great and beautiful life.”

Jackson’s relationship with Trump has been noted throughout the campaign, as Jackson has served as a physician to both President Trump and President Obama. Jackson was also Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Veterans Affairs at one point before withdrawing from consideration.

Running in the crowded Republican primary, Jackson is one of 15 Republicans hoping to replace U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Clarendon). Voters will decide this primary on March 3.
