Amarillo Police are investigating a robbery at the Chase Bank on Interstate 40 West.

According to APD, on Monday, January 6th, at 1:36PM, officers were dispatched to the Chase Bank location at 5805 I-40 West on the report of a bank robbery. A white male, described as being between 5’8” and 5’11” tall, with dark hair and facial hair, entered the bank and demanded money, also stating that he was armed with a gun, according to APD. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries reported.
The suspect was described as wearing a gray button up shirt, blue jeans, a black cap, and brown work boots.
