Thursday’s early voting turnout was down in both of Amarillo’s counties.
As voters head to the polls for the March 3 primary elections, 606 voters cast ballots Thursday in Randall County, while 248 cast ballots in Potter County. Both counties reported lower turnout than in previous days, with Potter reporting Thursday as its lowest early voting turnout day this cycle.
In total, 1,835 Randall County voters had cast ballots at the end of Thursday, while 826 had cast ballots in Potter.
Voters have until February 28 to early vote. Election day polling places will be open from 7AM to 7PM on March 3.
