A brand new poll from Progress Texas and Public Policy Polling has Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden tied for first in Texas ahead of the state’s crucial presidential primary next week.
According to the new polling, Biden and Sanders each are polling at 24 percent, with former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg polling at 17 percent. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is at 14 percent and former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg is at 10 percent to round out the top five, although if the results held true, neither Warren or Buttigieg would cross the 15 percent threshold to gain delegates in the primary.
Voters will decide this primary on March 3.
