Members of the Amarillo City Council will vote on Tuesday on confirming and continuing the City’s Declaration of Disaster related to the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to the agenda for the meeting posted to Amarillo.gov, the continuation of the declaration would be through Tuesday, April 28, if approved. The City Council most recently voted on March 31, 2020 to extend the declaration through April 14, according to minutes from that meeting.
Also, on the agenda for Tuesday, Council will vote on several purchase items and will conduct public hearings.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 14 at 1PM. The meeting will be broadcast online through Zoom due to social distancing.
