Amarillo City Council Set to Tackle Short Agenda Tuesday

Members of the Amarillo City Council will be tackling a small agenda during the entity’s meeting on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the Amarillo City Council will receive a coronavirus update and review a budget presentation during a work session. Following the work session, the City Council will convene in a closed session to discuss the “purchase, exchange, lease, sale, or value of real property” in two instances, with the agenda noting “public discussion of such would not be in the best interests of the City's bargaining position.” The properties to be discussed are located in the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone #1 boundary and the southwest quadrant of the City of Amarillo, respectively.

The meeting will begin at 1PM on Tuesday, April 21, and will be broadcast via Zoom.
