Amarillo mayoral candidate Michael Hunt picked up an endorsement this week from an influential local political action committee.

Hunt, a local businessman and barbecue catering company owner, received the endorsement of Save Amarillo PAC on Thursday. The PAC, which was influential in the defeat of Propositions A and B on November 3rd, hailed Hunt as having “valuable first hand knowledge” of the issues affecting Amarillo taxpayers.

Alongside Hunt, Save Amarillo PAC has also endorsed Amarillo City Council candidates Hobert “Gunny” Brown, Jason Foglesong, and Tom Scherlen for the upcoming May 1 election.
