Amarillo voters are turning out at a slow pace to cast their ballots in the state’s ongoing constitutional amendments election.

According to Potter County, through Wednesday, 462 voters had cast ballots in-person for the election and 142 had cast absentee ballots. The largest share of these votes have been cast at two polling places in Potter — the Santa Fe Building and Casey Carpet One.

Meanwhile, in Randall County, 727 voters had cast ballots in-person through Tuesday and 555 had cast absentee votes. This small increase over Potter is unsurprising, with Randall voters also casting ballots in tax rate ratification elections for Canyon ISD and Happy ISD.

Early voting continues through Friday, November 3. Election Day is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7.
