Another member of Attorney General Ken Paxton’s legal team has launched a bid for public office.

Attorney Mitch Little, who represented Paxton during his impeachment trial earlier this year, announced his candidacy last week for Texas House District 65. Little will be challenging incumbent State Rep. Kronda Thimesch in the Republican primary election for the Denton County seat.

According to his campaign website, Little is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Texas School of Law. Among the issues Little plans to tackle in his campaign include election integrity, reducing property taxes, and securing the border.

The primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
