Congressman Dean Phillips (D-MN03) has filed paperwork to appear on the ballot challenging President Joe Biden in the 2024 primary.
Phillips, who entered the race in late October, has been focusing his campaign on New Hampshire, an early primary state where Biden did not file.
With Phillips filing in Texas, Biden will now face at least two challengers on the primary ballot in Texas. As we reported earlier this week, California Democrat Armando "Mando" Perez-Serrato has also filed in Texas.
Filing for the primary ballot ends on December 11th. The primary election is set for March 5th, 2024.
