8,600 Votes Cast Ahead of Constitutional Amendments Election Day

Voters in Potter and Randall Counties have cast more than 8,600 votes ahead of Election Day on Tuesday.

According to elections officials from both counties, 8,623 votes have been cast across the two counties, both in-person and by mail. Potter County reported 1,981 in-person votes and 247 mail-in votes. Meanwhile, Randall County reported 5,572 votes cast in-person and 821 votes cast by-mail. In addition, Randall County also reported receiving two Federal Post Card Application ballots, which are typically cast by military personnel stationed overseas.

Among early voters, the most popular polling location in Potter County was the Santa Fe Building, where 676 ballots were cast. Meanwhile, the most popular polling location in Randall County was the Randall County Annex, where 2,290 ballots were cast.

Both counties are voting in the statewide constitutional amendments election. Randall County is also voting on a tax rate ratification election for Canyon ISD.

The polls will be open from 7am until 7pm on Tuesday for voters who still need to cast their ballots.
