Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy will officially be on the Republican primary ballot in Texas next year.
According to filings reported by the Republican Party of Texas, Hutchinson and Ramaswamy filed for the ballot on Monday, capping off the state’s primary ballot filings by presidential candidates. Monday was the filing deadline for all candidates.
In addition to Hutchinson and Ramaswamy, former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Ambassador Nikki Haley, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, businessman David Stuckenberg, and pastor Ryan L. Binkley are also set to appear on the ballot.
The Republican primary election in Texas is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
